About Us

Parade Antiques and Collectables was founded in 1997, and has been trading on the Barbican, Plymouth's historical harbour and tourist center ever since. Our vast range of stock includes artwork, china, glass and ceramics, antique furniture, silver and jewellery, coins and medals, toys, advertising, railway and motoring, maritime, ethnic items, entertainment memorabilia, science fiction and much more. Given the historical importance of a lot of our items, the Market also doubles up as a 'Curios Museum'.

We are based in an early 18th century warehouse near the water edge some 260 square metres in area. The market houses in excess of 60 cabinets and stalls, divided between some 40 dealers. Our market is all on the ground floor with great wheelchair access and we allow well behaved dogs. We also have about the same area of stock in storage next door, which is available upon request.

Where we are:

There is a drive in area for quick loading and unloading but there is also an ample supply of parking on the street and several longer stay car parks within a few hundred meters as we are next to Plymouth Hoe.

We cater for all budgets, from £1 to £150000 and accept payment by card in store. We are committed to providing a great customer experience and try to ensure that all items are labelled with an accurate description and price, any known reproduction items will be sold as reproductions and any items that are damaged or restored will be marked as such. We permit modern items or replicas if they are deemed to be collectable and not intended to deceive. We are always available to advise customers on anything they wish to buy or sell and allow them to handle the items.

We guarantee our goods as per their description and will refund if this is deemed to be incorrect. See our Guarantee page for more details.
