1821 George IV Silver Half Crown Light Garnish Coin

A very nice example of a 1821 dated Sterling Silver George IV Half Crown (2 Shillings & 6 Pence) of the version coin, with light garnish around the shield.

The coin features the laureate head of King George IV facing left, with the legend: 'GEORGIUS IIII D:G:' to the left, and 'BRITANNIAR:REX F:D:' to the right. The reverse shows the UK coat of arms with the royal crown above, thistle to the left and shamrock to the right. Below is 'ANNO', a rose, and the date 1821. Our estimate is that the coin is very fine to extra fine.
