Product Description

An substantial Bronze Bell from the Steamship 'KYLE-CROFT'.

Originally built by Dublin Dockyard Co, Dublin in 1911 as 'ENDA' for Michael Murphy Ltd, she was sold in 1929 to the Coast Lines Ltd, Liverpool and renamed 'ANGLESEY COAST'. In 1937 it changed ownership to London & Channel Islands Steamship Co Ltd and was renamed 'NORMAN QUEEN'. Finally, later that year, it was acquired by the Kyle Shipping Co Ltd and renamed "KYLE_CROFT'. It was broken up at Llanelly.

The bell is cast bronze with the letters painted in red. It is complete with its clapper.
