1897 William Neale Birmingham 9 Carat Cigar Cutter

A very nice example of a Victorian 9 carat (375) yellow gold Cigar Cutter in good condition.

The cutter has a gold body with a stainless steel inner blade. It has a suspension ring to hang as a fob on a watch chain. The gold is hallmarked Birmingham Assay with the date mark for 1897.It has the maker’s mark for William Neale of Warstone Lane, Birmingham (subsequently Cox Street, St Paul's, Birmingham).
