1907 Pair of Sterling Silver Sauce Boats by J Roger & Son

A very nice pair of Sterling Silver (925) Edwardian Sauce Boats, each with scroll acanthus decoration to the handles and triple hooves feet.

Although identical in design and hallmarks, one sauce boat is slightly smaller than the other. The sauce boats are hallmarked by the Sheffield Assay office, with the date stamp of 1907. The maker’s marks are those of J. Rodgers & Sons, of Norfolk Street, Sheffield. Condition is very good.
