c1890 Chinese Burr Walnut Hardwood Carved Side Table

An attractive Chinese side table, made of carved walnut wood and dating from the late 19th century.

The table is decorated in the usual manner, with a carved and pierced band of leaves and berries towards its top. The central panel is of burr walnut.

The condition of the table is good, though there are a few cracks to the legs and a larger one to the top surface. The wood has accumulated an attractive aged patina.
