1987 Beryl Cook Nathans Limited Edition Signed Print

A rare signed and framed, large sized, limited-edition Beryl Cook Silkscreen print entitled ‘Nathan’s’, published in 1987 and numbered 256/300.

The print also bears Beryl Cook’s hand signed pencil signature. Also known as Adam & Eve, it features the biblical characters as billboard sized, being painted by a small Beryl Cook. Condition is as mint and the print has been tastefully mounted, framed and glazed.

Beryl Cook (1926 - 2008) is probably Plymouth's most famous artist of the 20th century and is best known for her tongue in cheek representations of Plymouth social life . Her distinctive style, with large portly ladies and men, is hugely popular, making this a desirable piece for any enthusiast.
