1988 Beryl Cook Dancing on the QE2 Limited Edition Signed Print


A rare signed and framed, large sized, limited edition Beryl Cook lithograph print entitled ‘Dancing on the QE2’, published in 1988 and numbered 244/300.

The print also bears Beryl Cook’s hand signed pencil signature. It features to elegantly dressed older ladies dancing together on the deck of the QE2. In the background are people seated, being served by waiters.

Beryl Cook (1926 - 2008) is probably Plymouth's most famous artist of the 20th century and is best known for her tongue in cheek representations of Plymouth social life . Her distinctive style, with large portly ladies and men, is hugely popular, making this a desirable piece for any enthusiast.

The print is nicely framed and glazed and very good condition.
