2003 Beryl Cook Lady of Marseilles Limited Edition Signed Print


A rare signed and framed, large sized, limited-edition Beryl Cook Silkscreen print titled ‘Lady of Marseilles’, published in 2003 and numbered 34/395.

The print also bears Beryl Cook’s hand signed pencil signature. It features a suntanned lady in a leopard print onesie, walking her 2 small dogs in the street. Condition is as mint and the print has been tastefully mounted, framed and glazed.

Beryl Cook (1926 - 2008) is probably Plymouth's most famous artist of the 20th century and is best known for her tongue in cheek representations of Plymouth social life . Her distinctive style, with large portly ladies and men, is hugely popular, making this a desirable piece for any enthusiast.
