1815 Napoleonic Peninsula War Military Prints J. Jenkins


A set of 4 aquatint prints, after William Heath, showing scenes from the Napoleonic and Peninsula Wars

- Death of Moreau before Dresden, Aug. 1813
- Death of Sir John Moore Jan. 17th 1809
- Siege of Badajoz, June 1811
- Battle of Barrosa, March 5th 1811

All of the prints were published in 1815 and bear the details for J. Jenkins premises at 48 Strand, London.

Three of the prints have been aquatinted by Thomas Sutherland, whilst the battle of Barrosa has been aquatinted by ‘Dubourg.’

The condition of the set is very good, having all been tastefully framed.
