c1816 Print Plan of the Battle of Waterloo by Thomas Kelly


A very nice ‘Plan of the Battle of Waterloo’ in good condition, published on the 31st August 1816 by Thomas Kelly of 53 Paternoster Row London.

The copper plate map shows the disposition of the British & Belgian, the French and the Prussian troops before the famous battle, with an explanatory key at the bottom. The map is mostly uncoloured, with only the opposing armies being represented in red, blue and green. It was produced for Christopher Kelly’s the ‘Memorable Battle of Waterloo’. The map has been tastefully mounted, framed and glazed.
