1820 The Discovery of America by Christopher Columbus Book

A small leatherbound book that was circulated by the Education Society.

It is titled "The Discovery of America by Christopher Columbus" and was printed in 1820, by Christopher Bentham of 19 Eustace Street, Dublin. The book has 177 numbered pages and a selection of reproduced 15th century woodcut printed images from the original accounts in Spain. Condition is good; there are a few scuffs on the outer covers.

The blank inside cover pages have a dedication in ink dated 25.8.47. and there is some minor foxing. This is quite a rare book and it is rarely found outside major collections.
