There are some 580 pages (not numbered), with family names going from ABBS to ZYMON, describing the name and coat of arms. There are no images. Condition is good, with a little foxing inside the front covers. There is the ink signature of a previous owner William Marshall.

‘The General Armory first appeared in the year 1842, and was most favourably received’. (Preface to the 2007 edition)
