1969 to 1972 Cyprus RAF Episkopi Bound Lion Newspapers

A fascinating time capsule of 3 large bound books produced for the RAF Base Episkopi in Cyprus and collating the editions of the British Forces newspaper ‘The Lion’.

The 3 books were the property of Group Captain Bill Farquharson DFC and Bar, from when he commanded the RAF station in Cyprus, during the years 1969 to 1972. There are thousands of photographs, articles, period adverts, etc. The books are bound in blue cloth on board covers. The condition of the books are very good condition. Also included is an Episkopi plaque.
