2014 The Hunger Games Mockingjay I Film Panem Generals Tunic

An original Lionsgate Productions uniform jacket from the Hollywood blockbuster ‘The Hunger Games’.

It was worn by a Panem General of President Snow’s staff, in the third episode of the story titled 'Mockingly I', released in 2014. The memorable scene has the generals sitting around a circular table with Snow (played by Donald Sutherland). One of the generals gets poisoned for failure, despite the drinks appearing to have been shared out randomly.

The jacket has a stylish cut, not unlike a WWII German tanker’s wrap-over tunic, but with leather arms. The epaulettes are in angular folded gold cloth and there are a set of golden aiguilletes. There are 2 V collar badges. The breast wrap opens up to reveal a black leather ribbed chest plate.

The jacket comes with a certificate of authenticity from the Lionsgate Studios.

The Hunger Games is a trilogy of young adult dystopian novels written by American novelist Suzanne Collins. The series is set in The Hunger Games universe, and follows young characters Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark. The Hunger Games universe is a dystopia set in Panem, a country consisting of the wealthy Capitol and 12 districts in varying states of poverty. Every year, children from the districts are selected to participate in a compulsory annual televised death match called The Hunger Games. The inequality leads to unrest, turning into a civil war, with Everdeen as the emblem of the Rebellion.

The novels in the trilogy are titled The Hunger Games (2008), Catching Fire (2009), and Mockingjay (2010). The novels have all been developed into films, with the film adaptation of Mockingjay split into two parts.
