A really fine and rare, near mint condition of an early First Pressing of The Beatles ‘SGT. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ Long Play Record by Parlophone. The 33 1/3 rpm album cover shows the 4 Beatles, in very brightly coloured military bandsmen’s uniforms, with a crowd of famous historical faces behind. With the code PMC7027, it was released on the 1st June, 1967, in Mono by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. It has a laminated flipback gatefold inside cover with Mono PMC 7027 number on back. It has a green cut-outs insert and its original psychedelic pink red inner sleeve. It is a First pressing, with the black-yellow Parlophone label, with yellow logo and silver print, P. 1967 and the KT tax code on the label. The matrix numbers are Side 1: XEX 637-1; Side 2: XEX 638-1.
