1971 Pink Floyd MEDDLE Harvest 1st Press LP Record


A really fine and rare, near mint condition of an early First Pressing Variant 5 of Pink Floyd ‘Meddle’ Long Play Record by Harvest.

The 33 1/3 rpm gatefold album sleeve cover shows a hard to decipher close up of a human ear with a secondary semi-transparent image of ripples in water. The inside shows a black and white photo of the band. The surface of the sleeve is textured was designed and photographed by Hipgnosis.

With the code SHVL 795, it was released in 1971, in stereo by Harvest (EMI). As the first pressing the record has the yellow green label with black print. The matrix numbers are Side 1: SHVL 795 A-1U GR 2; Side 2: SHVL 795 B-1U GR 1. The EMI record inner sleeve is advertising other albums.

This record is in very good mint condition. There are no spindle marks visible on the labels.
