Product Description

A stunning pair of Scottish cut-glass pedestal fruit bowls, dating from the regency of George IV.

The bowls are beautifully cut and faceted with geometric patterns and thistle motifs. The underside of the pedestal base is cut with the usual mitre effect.

One of the bowls is in remarkable condition, with only a bit of roughness to the flared rim. The other bowl has been broken and glued back together with araldite. Additionally, there are a few noticeable chips to the rim.

Size: 26.5 x 23.5cm and 27 x 23cm
