c1900 Chinese Sancai Green Yellow Pair of Koi Fish Ridge Tiles

A very nice condition pair of c1900 Antique Chinese Sancai Green and Yellow Koi Carp Fish Figure Roof Ridge Tiles
They are handmade in the traditional c800 Tang Dynasty style in a cream clay and glazed in the typically early green and brown-yellow colours. In fact the Syracuse University Art Museum has a near identical example, dating from 618 – 907 AD, available to see at: https://onlinecollections.syr.edu/objects/36960/sancai-roof-tile-with-fish, which was gifted by Dr Alfred T. Collette (object number 2005.0185).
Condition is very good with little wear. There are some small old glaze chips and tiny crack hairlines on them, but they still show the beautiful patina.
