c1880 Wooden Handled Gurkha Service Kukri and Scabbard

A nice looking, late Victorian Nepalese Service Kukri in good condition.
The curved blade retains a very keen edge, despite its age, although there is some age spotting and rust to the steel. The handle is made of wood, with a steel butt pommel. The black scabbard is the traditional leather over wood and the leather has shrunk a bit with age, showing the wood. The scabbard has its little skinning knife but is missing the sharpening steel.
