WWII British Indian Officers Smaller Size Service Kukri

A nice looking WWII British Indian Officer’s Military Service Kukri in good condition.
The Officer’s Kukri is basically a smaller version of the standard Other Ranks issue one, often with some embellishments like ivory or bone grips. In this case the 2 slaps of wood are affixed to the tang by 2 steel rivets. The grips lack the central ridge but have 3 cut rings, so the kukri may be WWI period. The butt plate is held on by 2 rivets to the tang. The blade fits into a black leather covered wooden scabbard, which has the raised ridge near the throat in order to hold the leather frog. There isn’t a chape at the other end.
