1954 AM Royal Air Force Manual Flying Volumes 1 & 2

A very interesting and scarce original 1954 and 1955 British issue Royal Air Force Manuals, titled FLYING in 2 volumes, and produced by the Air Ministry.

The hard cover books are marked Restricted and have the item code A.P.129 (6th Edition). The second volume covers AIRCRAFT OPERATION and features the pilot and his personal equipment, Airmanship and procedures, range and endurance of propellor and jet aircraft, and emergencies (fire and forced landings).

The books are in very good used condition and were formerly the property of Group Captain W L Farquharson DFC & Bar. He flew bombers in WWII.
