Product Description

A very fine to mint condition Naval presentation commission document, being a promotion of Korvettenkapitan (Lieutenant) Max Schenitzki to the rank of Fregattenkapitan (Lieutenant Commander).

The script is in an archaïc form of German called Sütterlin and is very hard to read. It is dated 1st of July 1933 and bears the original ink signature of the Reichs President (and WWI Field Marshal) Paul von Hindenberg, as well as that of the Chief of the Army Field Marshal von Blomberg. The document is signed at Neudeck (crossed out Berlin), which is in Brandenburg.

The document also has a large dry stamp eagle of the Reichsweer. This is one of 3 commission documents pertaining to Konteradmiral (Rear Admiral) Max Schenitzki, that are all signed by prominent leaders.
