WWII German 2nd Pattern Reichsluftschutzbund RLB Armband

An unissued, mint WWII German 2nd pattern, Reichsluftschutzbund (RLB) Armband made of light blue cotton with the typical Bevo machine-woven black swastika on a white star burst.

The weave makes the reverse of the armband appear as a negative image of the front.

The RLB (Reichsluftschutzbund) was the National Air Defence Section. The first pattern had the letters RLB inside the sunburst, whereas the 2nd pattern, introduced in 1938, shows the swastika.
