WWII US Surgeon Major John K. Lattimer Officer's Ike Jacket

A beautiful, near mint condition, WWII US issue Service Officer's "Ike" jacket that belonged to Surgeon Major John K. Lattimer.

Originally on the medical staff of both the 82nd and the 101st Airborne Divisions, he was transferred to Patton's Staff in the 7th Army.

The tunic is badged up for a Major in the Medical Department and has the beautiful bullion embroidered 7th Army and ETO (European Theatre of Operations) badges on each arm. It also has the Combat Infantryman badge and his medal ribbon bars. We are not sure of the top ribbon but it is followed by the Army Commendation Medal, WWII Occupation Medal, American Campaign, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign, and the WWII Victory medal.

The inside of the jacket has two labels, one has Regular Army Officers Uniform and the other is the Quartermasters white label dated 1942. It also has the Overseas Service Bars on the arm.
