Product Description

An unusual faux-crocodile skin wallet, with sterling silver mounts that have been assayed for Birmingham and dated 1905.

The wallet bears the “CPB” maker mark of Charles Penny Brown, a Birmingham-based craftsman who made calendars, cases and bookmarks. His wares are often a curious combination of leather and silver.

The inside of the wallet is of supple tan leather, with sections for notes, stamps and cards. The condition is very good, with no considerable wear to the interior or exterior.
