A beautiful pair of 18th century George III Sterling silver Salt Cellars in very good condition.

The cellars are boat shaped with a pedestal oval bases. The edges top and bottom are decorated with triple reeds. The inside bowls were gilded originally and there are traces of it left. Both cellars bear the monogram Y. The underside is distinctly marked with the London Assay Office stamps and the date mark of 1792 and 1795, respectively. The maker’s marks are for Henry Chawner of London.
