1999 Band of Brothers The Last Patrol Original Script & Photos


An original script from the famous WW2 television series ‘Band of Brothers’, following the exploits of Easy Company in the US 101st Airborne Division.
The script belonged to the Costume Department and covers Episode 11 ‘The Last Patrol’ It is a First Draft, so some of the content, including the final title, may have been omitted or altered in the final version. The script is made up of A4 white sheets. It is stamped NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION, has the issue number 18 and is dated July 29, 1999. There are 52 pages. The storyline is about a night attack on a German outpost, in Hagenau, to capture German prisoners for interrogation. It is February 1945, which makes the weary soldiers fearful of dying so close to the end of the war.

An HBO gold embossed Invitation card to the World Premiere that was held on the 6th June 2001, at the Musée du Debarquement, Utah Beach, Normandy, France.

Band of Brothers is a 2001 American war drama miniseries based on historian Stephen E. Ambrose's 1992 non-fiction book of the same name. It was created by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, who also served as executive producers, and who had collaborated on the 1998 World War II film Saving Private Ryan. Episodes first aired on HBO starting on September 9, 2001. The series won the Emmy and Golden Globe awards for best miniseries. The series dramatizes the history of "Easy" Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division, from jump training in the United States through its participation in major actions in Europe, up until the end of WWII.
