c1930 Silver Plated Brass n Bakelite Napoleonic Cannon

A beautiful and finely made model of a Napoleonic period Cannon, made out of Silverplated Brass and Bakelite, standing on a bakelite stand and surrounded by bollard linked by chain.
The cannon has been nicely turned on a lathe and silver plated. It rests on a brown bakelite plastic truck with 4 silver plated brass wheels. The cannon rests on a rectangular bakelite base with bevelled edge and 6 silverplated brass bollards. The bollards border the base and are linked by short lengths of chain. The quality of workmanship is extremely good and it may be an apprentice made piece. The condition is fine with minimal wear to the plating.
