c1955 Meccano Number 4 Unused Boxed Set

A scarce 1950s Meccano Number 4 building set in very good condition.

The contents are all tied down and are in unused condition. There is a manual, with building inspiration suggestions. The box has the typical period image of 2 boys making a large crane. The box is in worn condition, with the corners of the lid cracked and a side flap missing. The instruction book is thumbworn. However, the rest is near mint.
