Early Robert Lenkiewicz Gouache Portrait of Man & Pipe

An early example of the famous Plymouth painter Robert D. Lenkiewicz's work.

The gouache shows a seated man in a blue smock and bonnet, smoking a pipe. The painting is not signed by Lenkiewicz but it well known as his and has been catalogued as original. It does represent a change from his more usual style, but Lenkiewicz like to experiment for his own purposes, mimicking other artists styles.

The picture is mounted on a white board in a light wood coloured frame.
