Robert Lenkiewicz Swallowing Time Signed AP Etching Print

An interesting and though provoking Signed Etching print by the renowned Plymouth artist Robert O. Lenkiewicz (1941 - 2002).

The pencil style picture is called Swallowing Time and shows Lenkiewicz popping a sand timer in his mouth. The picture is part of the artist's 23 piece Project on Time. It is actually an Artist Proof print and is numbered VI/VI (6/6).

The print is numbered, titled and signed in pencil by Lenkiewicz. Artist proofs are generally much more sought after than normal numbered prints, as they normally remain property of the artist and are produced in very small numbers.

The picture has been framed and glazed in a typical Lenkiewicz mount of black wood.
