Baragwanath King Watercolour ‘Derwent Water from Castle Craig’

An attractive Baragwanath King watercolour entitled ‘Derwent Water, from Castle Craig’ dated 1908.

Baragwanath King (1864–1939) was a painter of watercolours and oils, specialising in land and seascapes. His career saw him exhibit once at the Royal Institute and 48 times in the Baillie Gallery, one of London’s most popular galleries during the early 20th century.

The picture bears his pencil signature on the back and front.
