1977 Edition Coloured Views Liverpool and Manchester Railway

A lovely example of the 1977 Limited Edition hardback ‘Coloured Views on the Liverpool and Manchester Railway’ by T. T. Bury.

The book is bound in full red Lavana Calf Leather with gold lettering by Zaehnsdorf. It is a full facsimile of the original 1831 Ackermann Edition and was limited to 250 copies. This example is numbered 56/250. There is an introduction by George Ottley, Bibliography by J.M. Lloyd, Catalogue Raisonne, XV111/8pp (original Introduction to Ackermann). There are 13 full-page coloured plates, followed by 3 large folding coloured plates. The book was published by Hugh Broadbent, of Oldham, UK.

Condition is very good, with just a little damp staining on the inside of the spine.
