c1600 Map of Essex by John Norden - William Kip

A very attractive early printed map of Essex which has been hand coloured, marking the different parishes.

The map is called ESSEXIA by John Norden and was engraved for printing by William Kip, probably in the period 1600 - 1630. The paper is handmade and still in good condition. The map is framed and glazed.
